08-15-05 This month gogo.com presents 24 funny streaming videos gathered from the Internet and assembled for your viewing pleasure. In addition to the streaming videos there is a Flash animation to view, after it opens click on the arrow to run it.

09-20-04 With summer vacations ending and students returning to school GOGO is offering a collection of over 550 solitare games to download. This is an updated version of the games that GOGO posted last year. This should keep GOGO's fantastic fans busy for awhile. In addition to the games GOGO presents a streaming video from the 1960s of "The Thirteenth Floor Elevators", the original psychedelic band, that will open in your Media Player. Don't forget to click the entry logo to view the huge collection of "All Things GoGo" and tell a friend to come by and play.
08-15-04 The monthly feature for gogo.com this month is a repeat from last year. The response to "Ride the Lisbon trolley" video was so large that gogo has returned it for this month's feature presentation. Last month's feature "All Things GoGo" has been expanded and is now permanently available by clicking the front page logo.

02-15-04 The new gogo com monthly feature has been uploaded for your enjoyment. This month features 40 wild, weird and wacky web videos from around the world. There are 16 rated for general audience and two sets of 12 adult rated humorous videos. The adult videos do not include pornographic situations but do include some nudity and adult subject matter that some people may wish not to view or have their children view. If you find nudity and adult humor offensive then please avoid those selections. These will remain online until the middle of March. There are an additional 8 humorous TV commercials located in the VIDEO section for your viewing pleasure.
01-28-04 Added GOGO RADIO with a large selection of streaming Internet stations to choose from, many are commercial free, to both gogo com and gogo net. Also added new artists to the GOGO Art Galleries on both sites, even more artists will be added soon. 01-16-04 This month's feature presentation on gogo com is a collection of interactive 3D Shockwave Flash programs and 12 streaming audio clips comprised of original composition instrumentals in MIDI and MP3 formats. Also added to gogo com are translations of the navigator panel into 12 international languages, these are being refined and most likely have some errors in them. Any help in improving these translations is appreciated. GOGO is trying to reach out to the global Internet community, hopefully nothing has been said by mistake that would be taken as offensive. On gogo.net there are many additions for the new year, lots of more videos and music files have been added. The "GOGO on the GO" web browzer bot has been refined and the new version is available in 3 different skins for you to explore. There are features added to "GOGO on the GO" that are not available on the other sites as well as a more "adult" content orientaion.
12-16-03 Time to update the news pages with all the latest features added to the gogo sites. gogo com has a new monthly feature on the splash page, these will change out on the middle of the month and will consist of a variety of entertainment. Other additions to gogo com that are not available on gogo.net are new music selections added to the entry page, now in addition to the streaming midi tunes there are two songs. In the GAMES section two new programs have been added, Critterz and clickNpaint. Added to both sites are several new videos, a streaming commercial free radio to add to your surfing enjoyment and in the ISCG game section there is finally a streaming video demo of ISCG and SUBMISSION. On gogo net there is a new version of the "gogo on the go" remote controller and browzer window, look for much more to come here. In the GAMES section a web paint program has been added, it is Java so it loads slow but well worth it. The gogo net guest member page has been revised and includes a calendar and gogo wallpaper, also added multiple chatrooms on the gogo net chat. Both sites have a revised software download page that includes a really fine independently developed media player you should try out and both sites now have a two player version of checkers so you can take on another human, or whatever. Seasons best to one and all, more revisions and updates are in the works for release in 2004.
12-01-03 Finished refreshing both gogo sites, hopefully all the links are working and all the CGI programs are stable. The new gogo net wireless strategy is begining to take shape. There is now a BETA version of the new mini browzer available for testing. Go to the gogo net guest member page and click the "gogo remote" link. This version is fairly stable, should you experience any major problems please let us know. There have been so many new games, programs and media files added so fast that the news has fallen behind. Hopefully there will be more news posted more often now.
11-18-03 Two news updates in one year ;-) things are picking up again. Having recently survived two server crashes and two site rebuilds, it looks like gogo com and gogo.net are stable again. Some of the guest messages were unfortunately lost in the process as well as the more recent chat room identities. The monthly feature has been added to the entry page, this will change out on the 15th day each month. New builds are still in the works for both sites and will be gradually implemented over the course of the next year. Look forward to gogo.com featuring more streaming broadband and advanced gaming, gogo net will begin moving into more wireless, cell phone and PDA services.
06-13-03 Looks like news updates are averaging one a year. Well good news... The Asian online music company that has been licensing the gogo com URL has become a casualty of the dot com bust and has relinquished the URL. The changes are propagating through the NIC and it should be online any day. Initially both gogo URLs will be sharing the same site - BUT- expect gogo.com to re-launch with a whole new build and a refreshed attitude. The objective will be to continue the GOGO tradition of pushing the web envelope, what that means will make itself evident soon.
01-24-02 Well, how time flies. I guess it's about time I put some energy towards the old GOGO site (going on it's 8th birthday). Cleaned up some bad links, replaced some corrupted graphics files, eliminated the 3D controls option (too many problems with VRML to try something that ambitious) but kept the other VRML pages, basically dusted it off and polished the chrome. Looks like it is becoming practical to drop support for low resolution monitors and non-DHTML browsers. Time to begin delivering content for Broadband connectivity. Working now with streaming live and recorded video which should be showing up on the site before too long.
01-20-01 Nearly a full year since last update. zztop.com is trucking along. Since then a new children's game site has emerged, www.zippity.com and a web site for actress/model Johanna Watts at www.thejohannasite.com. Much more in the works and will be presented soon, look for the growth of the Austin Music Network.
02-20-00 Well been away awhile - the news is that the transition from gogo com to gogo net is completed. All the original content of gogo com will remain intact on gogo.net as well as the enhanced DHTML features available to Internet Explorer 4.0+ browser users. Many new additions are planned for gogo and throughout this new millennium they will get implemented.
10-20-99 Catching-up on posting the news. One of the new projects is finally a reality and can be revealed. www.zztop.com - This should be a fun project for all concerned, viewer and builder alike. Traveling with the band, building from the road. The band is taking a hands on approach to the web site. The final outcome is open-ended. ZZ Top is playing to full houses virtually every night of the week and rocking the house like they are known for. That energy is beginning to make its way into the web site. Many big plans in the works, check it out. And catch the show if you have the opportunity.
07-15-99 GOGO.NET launched. A guest account is available for testing at www.gogonet - the new site includes email and a calendar. Plans are underway to be offering membership accounts in the near future. Message board is running on both sites. The Virtual Mall is growing, try the "Retail" button. Some refinements have been made to gogo.net, the front page and button configuration have been undergoing some changes, maybe it will be stable for awhile. And then again it's always underconstruction ;-) it's been that way for the last 5 years. Found a problem with the I.S.C.G. download when installing on win98, but it works if you launch it from the demo.bat file.
06-25-99 Been cleaning up the site and readying for release of gogo net. Try out the new interface and chat room - you will need IE 4.0+ to fully use the new portal interface and all features. Enter through the button on the splash page or this link www.gogonet - you may want to bookmark it. Look for an expansion upon the gallery and finally delivering on the DHTML. Preparations underway for the next millenium and an exciting new gogo. More info on all this soon.
06-15-99 Guess it's time to update the news. Still can not reveal the secret project that has been in the works but getting closer. Just made some tweeks to the site and thought it time to post some new info. Search, Retail and AWHQ have been updated, moved the flash intro off the opening page. You can expect some major changes to the site's content soon. The work with DHTML continues and beginnings of webTV has started, look for more to come.
09-15-98 It's been awhile since the news has been updated. Added 6 quicklinks buttons on the front page for easy access to some site features. Have been busy with development of a DHTML authoring tool. Visit the new paradyn site at www.paradyn.com and check out the new MICROWAVE DHTML tool and some examples of applied DHTML. Expect more of the DHTML to begin showing up on this site.
04-15-98 Been busy with DHTML development, you will notice the addition of a DHTML button to the menu panel, if you have a 4.0 browser you will be able to enjoy many of the new features which Dynamic HTML will bring to the web. Only Microsoft browsers can utilize all the features of the new language at this time. This demo has been scaled back to only incorporate the features which Netscape also supports. Work is under way now on some projects which will display all the new features for IE 4.0+ users. We have postponed putting the gogo live cam online for a while but there is now a live cam on Austin viewable from our Video pages.

02-15-98 We switched back over to our own servers and the old site pages have been taken down in favor of the new style - If you are having any trouble with this site design please notify us (only people without frames should have a problem). If you are not using Microsoft, you will not be able to use some of the features. If you have a VRML2 viewer, you can use the 3D controls, otherwise use the conventional buttons. If the size of your scroll bar annoys you, go to your Windows appearance settings and scale it down. Live cam will be up again soon now that the relocation is completed. Enjoy the site.
